•        Captain Lundquist is a senior science advisor with Alion Science and Technology, Navy Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
•        Lundquist is the director of public relations for the Surface Navy Association, and serves the Greater Washington chapter of SNA as the vice president for communications.
•        He writes for Naval Forces, Surface SITREP, Surface Warfare, Armed Forces Journal, Ships Monthly, Sea Classics, Marine Technology Reporter, Warships International
•        He is the chairman for the 2009 IQPC Maritime Security and Offshore Patrol vessel conference in Abu Dhabi.
•        Edward Lundquist, ABC, is the publisher of the global Job of the Week (JOTW) e-mail networking newsletter for communication professionals.
•        Lundquist has won an IABC Gold Quill Award for JOTW. JOTW has posted more than 24,000 communication-related jobs since its launch.

As commanding officer of the 450 men and women of the Naval Media Center,, Edward Lundquist led the U.S. Navy’s overall internal information program, communicating to 372,000 active-duty men and women in the UnitedStates and overseas, ashore and afloat. He was responsible for print media, video production,and broadcasting, and he served as the special assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations for visual information.

While in charge of the Navy’s broadcasting operations, he managed 25 broadcasting detachments, including five television stations and eight radio stations around the world serving military audiences, as well as fleet support detachments that provided logistics, engineering, technical, training and administrative support to shipboard closed- circuit TV systems.
